The race is also seen as a major opportunity for F1 to expand its presence in the United States, which is a key market for the sport.

Organizers of this year’s race on May 5-7, 2023, have announced an increase of 3,000 grandstand seats, bringing the total number to 56,000, following the success of last year’s sell-out event. The demand for marquee features from 2022, such as The Yacht Club at the MIA Marina and the Hard Rock Beach Club, has prompted expansion. Additionally, 61 new hospitality suites and two luxury club spaces, The Vista at Turn 1 and The Boathouse at MIA Marina, have been added. A new permanent Formula 1® Paddock Club building, which spans multiple levels and offers unparalleled views of the pitlane and start/finish straight, will also be introduced for 2023. The building will be located alongside Hard Rock Stadium and will feature luxury hospitality spaces and exquisite catering provided by DO & CO.
